Gray Station Farmers’ Market opened its “doors” Saturday, June 14, 2003 at 8 a.m. in the parking lot adjacent to Carol’s Park. This effort opens an avenue to any hometown farmer or back yard gardener to sell their own produce. GSBHT has remodeled two flatbed trailers for the display of homegrown agricultural products. If you have surplus vegetables, fruit, plants, etc., bring them to Carol’s Park each Saturday morning. Come early and reserve a spot on one of the trailers for a small fee of $5.00. |
|
Here is one of the remodeled trailers. They’re 21 feet long and can accommodate up to 8 growers per trailer, 4 on each side. Advertising on the awning is available. Truck space is also available. Call Pat Daniels at 478-986-5199 or City Hall at 478-986-5433 for more information. |
