The City of Gray is currently striving to become a Better Hometown community. The Better Hometown Program is a self-help community development program for small cities (under 5,000 in population) designed to improve the community’s quality of life through sound planning and implementation by community stakeholders. Better Hometown cities are helped with technical assistance and advice designed, in particular, to stimulate downtown revitalization. This assistance is provided only to designated Better Hometown communities. We are looking for interested individuals or businesses that would be willing to volunteer their time and energy to help see the City of Gray progress.
